Inventory Management

Performance Produce Services Group knows your Inventory is the goods or materials you intend to sell to customers for profit. Inventory management, a critical element of the supply chain, is the tracking of inventory from manufacturers to warehouses and from these facilities to a point of sale. The goal of inventory management is to have the right products in the right place at the right time. This requires inventory visibility — knowing when to order, how much to order and where to store stock. The basic steps of inventory management include:

1. Purchasing inventory: Ready-to-sell goods are purchased and delivered to the warehouse or directly to the point of sale.
2. Storing inventory: Inventory is stored until needed. Goods or materials are transferred across your fulfillment network until ready for shipment.
3. Profiting from inventory: The amount of product for sale is controlled. Finished goods are pulled to fulfill orders. Products are shipped to customers.

Quality Control

It can be easy for companies to get caught up in documenting and creating quality control procedures for the sake of it and making it up as they go along. Packaging

Performance Produce 3PL Services Groups provides multiple packaging options for all your products. We also provide private labeling for those customers who are wanting to build a strong Brand identity.

Re-Packing

Performance Produce Services Group is a primary destination packer, which means that all the produce brought into our facilities has grades USDA #1’s or USDA Fancy. WE hand sort and re-grade each customer order so that every shipment that leaves has been double graded ensuring your customers will receive the freshest produce available.

Distressed Shipments

Performance Produce Services Group offers our customers our Rescue Shipment Service. Should you have a shipment rejected for any reason , you can forward the shipment to one of our facilities and we will re-work the goods. We will remove any damadged produce and re-pack your order to specs. We will then reship the reclaimed produce to your customer. With this service you can maximize your profits and minimize any product shortage on your customers shelves.
